News ArchivesProposals for CIVA for 2009Deadline for the submission of rule proposals for 2009 to be considered by CIVA has now passed. Several NACs have submitted a variety of proposals this year and these are now available for downloading here as a PDF file. Note that this proposal package is for powered aerobatics only. Only one proposal (from Finland) was received for gliders and this will be posted separately. Catalogue Revisions Available for 2008Submitted by Mike Heuer on Thu, 13/12/2007 - 14:23.At its plenary meeting in October 2007, CIVA agreed to amendments to the Aresti Catalogue in Family 2 (turns and rolling turns). These amendments are to both the glider and power catalogues and will affect all competitors flying in FAI Championships in 2008. The changes, along with amended pages, are found on the "Documents" page and will remain on this website pending publication of the amended pages by Aresti System, SL of Spain. Rules and Competition Proposals Published for 2008Submitted by Mike Heuer on Fri, 15/06/2007 - 15:15.The deadline for the submission of rules proposals for the 2008 contest season has now passed. Various CIVA member countries have submitted rules proposals as well as papers to initiate discussion on new competition formats. In addition, plans are already underway for the 2009 World Air Games in Turin, Italy and rules for this event will be discussed at Sub-Committee and the CIVA plenary in October in Vilnius, Lithuania.
