Proposals for CIVA for 2009

Deadline for the submission of rule proposals for 2009 to be considered by CIVA has now passed. Several NACs have submitted a variety of proposals this year and these are now available for downloading here as a PDF file.

Note that this proposal package is for powered aerobatics only. Only one proposal (from Finland) was received for gliders and this will be posted separately.

The CIVA Rules and Judging Sub-Committees will meet in Pendleton, Oregon, USA on 1 August 2008 – just prior to the start of the World Advanced Aerobatic Championships. Their recommendations will be forwarded to CIVA delegates sometime in August. The Glider Aerobatics Sub-Committee will meet in Poland during the EGAC in August 2008.

The aerobatic community is encouraged to contact their national delegates to comment on these proposals and provide input. The final decisions on these proposals will not be taken until October 2008 when CIVA meets in plenary session.
