FAI and CIVA Awards
FAI and CIVA trophies, medals, and diplomas aim at giving public recognition to those who have reached the highest pinnacles of achievement in aerobatic competition -- whether it be as a pilot or a contributor in other ways. These awards are presented each year at all of the World and Continental Championships held under the banner of FAI in Unlimited, Advanced, and Glider competition. [more]
CIVA Fair Play System (FPS)
In 2006, CIVA implemented its new FairPlay System – a new statistical method for calculating scores at FAI Aerobatic Championships. Click here for a detailed explanation of the system by Nick Buckenham of the United Kingdom.
