JUDGES TEST FOR 2004

Now that the 2004 FAI aerobatic competition season has drawn to a close, CIVA is making available the 2004 Judges Examination to anyone who wishes to download it from this website.

This examination on the current rules was given to all of the judges who worked the VI. Advanced World Aerobatic Championships in Ljungbyhed, Sweden in August 2004. It covers the latest changes in CIVA Regulations and is also reviewed by the Chief Judge personally to properly prepare the Judges for their work.

The examination is in PowerPoint format and includes the answers to the questions. It is useful for judges, pilots, contest officials, and aerobatic enthusiasts who are interested in the fine points of the rules. The file should be run as a Slide Show (hit the F5 button). Aresti System (Condensed)

The 2005-1 version of the Aresti System (Condensed) is available on line. The Glider Aerobatic Figures (GAF) are also available. Both of these documents are viewable from the CIVA website or can be downloaded to your computer in PDF format.

FAI AND CIVA AWARDS

FAI and CIVA trophies, medals, and diplomas aim at giving public recognition to those who have reached the highest pinnacles of achievement in aerobatic competition -- whether it be as a pilot or a contributor in other ways. These awards are presented each year at all of the World and Continental Championships held under the banner of FAI in Unlimited, Advanced, and Glider competition. [more]
