- Excellent way of bringing the CIA to the membership
- The ballooning community appreciated seeing and hearing the CIA Bureau and Subcommittees
- Over 300 attended the Worlds session

- Organise a session at CIA Sanctioned events
- Plan, schedule and publish session agenda before event
- Should be organised and chaired by host countries CIA Delegate
- Take minutes and send them to all involved

CIA Event Evaluations
- Evaluation forms passed out near the end of the event
- Very good return rate
- Valuable information collected
- Allowed participants to express their views about the event and be listened to
CIA Event Evaluations Suggestions
- Should be done at all CIA sanctioned events
- Give evaluations out a flight briefings and collect them as soon as possible
- Analyse results and distribute to organisers, officials and publish on CIA Web site.
- Work with organisers to understand the results and implement suggestions
Event Debriefings
- Formal event debriefings were held at the:

- 43rd Coupe Aéronautique Gordon Bennett in Albuquerque, USA
Event Debriefing Observations
- Chaired by the Jury President
- Held after the completion of both events
- Good feedback from competitors and officials
- Open discussion of good points and problems.
- Some good suggestions were made

- 17 out of 20 Gordon Bennett teams attended
- Competitors and officials appreciated being able to provide feedback on the event
Event Debriefing Suggestions
- Plan, schedule and advertise the debriefing before the event and announce several times
near the end of the event
- Make it open to pilots, officials and organisers
- Make sure information reaches CIA Subcommittees and Working Groups
What Has EPAS Learned?
- Lots of work to organise and run
- Need to work closely with host countries Delgate
- All of the EPAS initiatives were appreciated
- Need to summarize and report on discussions, suggestions and results
- Meaningful information needs to reach organisers, CIA Bureau and Subcommittees
- At sanctioned events we will request that the organiser will schedule and advertise
