Description of outstanding services

Bengt Stener has been a board member of the SBF in various positions since 1983. From 1993 to 1998 he was chairman of the competition subcommittee and has made significant contributions in the fields of competition, competition rules and safety standards.

Bengt Stener has been director of the Swedish nationals 1990 to 1997 and chairman of the jury 1998 to 2000. Since 1994 he is the alternate CIA delegate for Sweden and is currently serving as chairman of the safety subcommittee. He has also served as director, safety officer, scorer or observer at numerous International events.

‘Economy&Life’ has been General Sponsor of all Nationals in Russia since 1991 (6 events). Yuri Yakutin has also supported for many years in publicity of ballooning in Russia. Balloon ‘Economy&Life’ participated in many events in Russia and other countries.
