Each year CIA member countries are asked to collect statistical information about ballooning. These statistics are compiled into a comprehensive spreadsheet for each year.

Note that not every country supplies statistics every year.   In most recent years when a countries statistics are highlighted in red, that indicated they have not reported for that year but the information from their previous report is included in the overall summary.

The statistics are for each year and no effort has been made to compare annual reports.
