This CD-ROM presented by the FAI Aviation & Space Education Commission (CIEA) as a contribution to the FAI Centenary, contains winning entries of the FAI Young Artists Contest from 1986 to 2004.
The development of this archive was made possible thanks to the cooperation and work of students and staff of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Prescott, AZ (USA).
We express our warmest thanks to the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for the huge work they accomplished to collect, sort and digitalize the winning paintings from the past 19 years of FAI Young Artists Contest, and hope that this CDROM will contribute to the promotion of air sports.
Distribution : The CDROM will be available at the FAI Information Booth in Friedrichshafen, Geneva, Lausanne and Paris; donations are welcomed and will be used for CIEA educational programs.
An International collection of Aviation Art from 1986 to 2004
C'est sous ce titre que la Commission d'éducation aéronautique de la FAI (CIEA) propose, dans le cadre du Centenaire de la FAI, ce nouveau CD-ROM réunissant les dessins gagnants du Concours international de jeunes artistes de 1986 à 2004.
Le développement de ce document d'archive a été rendu possible grâce à l'engagement des élèves et du personnel de l'Université aéronautique Embry-Riddle, à Prescott, Arizona (USA).
Nous remercions chaleureusement l'Université Embry-Riddle pour tout le travail qui a été accompli afin de rassembler, trier et numériser les dessins primés lors des 19 éditions du Concours international de jeunes artistes FAI, et espérons que ce CDROM contribuera aussi à la promotion des sports aériens auprès des jeunes.
Distribution : ce CDROM sera disponible sur le stand FAI à Friedrichshafen, Genève, Lausanne et Paris; une modeste contribution sera demandée en faveur des programmes éducatifs de la CIEA.
