"Aero 05", Europe’s most important meeting place for the general aviation industry, reported a significant growth in the number of exhibitors (543) and trade visitors. During the four days of the fair, some 45,000 visitors were counted at the ticket gates. With business jets, gliders, aeromodels and ultra-light aircraft right up to board electronics, maintenance and accessories, "Aero 05" covered the complete spectrum of the general aviation industry.
In this year of FAI Centenary, the German Aero Club invited FAI to show its information booth in the well-located "Foyer". "High Flyers", the new book on the history of FAI and air sports, was presented for the first time to public during "Aero 05".
"Aero 05", l'un des lieux de rencontre parmi les plus importants pour l'aviation générale en Europe, a enregistré cette année un accroissement significatif du nombre d'exposants (543) et de visiteurs; 
quelque 45'000 visiteurs sont en effet venus à Friedrichshafen pendant les 4 jours de l'exposition. "Aero" couvre un large éventail de produits et services de l'aviation générale, allant des avions d'affaires, planeurs, modèles-réduits et autres ultralégers, jusqu'aux instruments de bord, accessoires et maintenance aéronautique.
En cette année de Centenaire de la FAI, l'Aéro-Club d'Allemagne a invité la FAI à présenter son stand d'information dans le "Foyer", un lieu d'accueil excellemment situé à proximité de l'entrée principale; pour la FAI, ce fut l'occasion de présenter pour la première fois au public son tout nouveau livre "High Flyers", ouvrage qui retrace l'histoire de la FAI et des sports aériens.
