It was a dismal morning we all woke up to with low clouds, mist, and higher winds forecast for the day. The 08.00 briefing was canceled – though we had an informal briefing in the aero club’s bar along with a cup of coffee – and another briefing will be held at 10.00. However, our weather man does hold out any hope that there will be any flying today or even tomorrow. So we remain at the airport – getting caught up on paperwork. At 10.00, it is likely that our Contest Director Tom Korinek will inform the teams that we will be standing down for the day. Update at 14.00 -- I am now at the airport with most now gone. Flying is canceled for the day.
