John Brady
After training in radar systems had a career as a military pilot flying mainly Hawker Hunter, English Electric Lightning and McDonnell Douglas Phantom II and working in headquarters and Ministry Of Defence. Spent 5 years buying Eurofighter Typhoon and then joined an airline flying Boeing and Airbus equipment for 11 years before retirement. During the latter period served on the flight operations committees at major UK airports including London Gatwick, Stansted and Luton. Currently Vice-Chairman of the UK Light Aircraft Association and member of the UK Air Traffic Management Advisory Committee. Also serving on committees involved with UK spectrum management and future airspace strategy. Recent focus has been on collision avoidance and the proper understanding of the statistical basis of risk to inform national decision making.
