From 1991 on I have been responsible for negotiation on airspace issues, firstly for the GFA, and then for all of sport aviation, on behalf of ASAC. This combined with my professional qualifications provided considerable experience in hazard modelling and risk management in airspace matters, and gliding operations more generally.
At the same time I was heavily involved in negotiations with CASA regarding matters relating to self administration, firstly of gliding and then, on behalf of all of Sport Aviation.
