Gliding highlights: My current log book starts in 1999. Since then I've participated in
- seven state comps (4 firsts) - four nationals (1 first), - one world comp at Bayreuth, Germany in 1999 (0 firsts unfortunately) - Grand Prix held in conjunction with the Club Class pre-worlds in
Gawler (first).

Why Gliding? I think it's a privilege to be able to cruise around the sky driven by only thermal energy and am often amazed at the end of the day by what we have achieved as glider pilots. I also enjoy simply trying to do something well, especially something like gliding which is different every day.
