On Line Contest (OLC)
The FAI and "Segelflugszene non-profit GmbH" (organizers of the online contest) have signed a memorandum of understanding. Click the logo for further details.
Sporting Code and Annexes
The latest versions of Section 3 of the FAI Sporting Code are:
- Section 3, 1999 Edition, 8th Amendment, valid from October 1, 2007.
- Annex A to SC3, 2006 Edition, valid from October 1, 2006 (including handicap list 2006)
- Annex B to SC3, including ammendments 1 to 3, valid from
October 1, 2005. - Annex C to SC3, 2000 Edition, 8th Amendment, valid from October 1, 2006.
10. COTS presentation
The Canadian delegate Mr. Joerg Stieber gave a presentation on behalf of GARMIN about Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products, and the possibility to use these as Flight Recorders for badge flights.
The presentation was followed by a short debate about these possibilities.

Communication channels
Mailing lists: The IGC has 2 public mailing lists. Both lists are used to disseminate official FAI/IGC information such as notification of world records, information on championships, news/press releases etc., but one may be used in addition for discussion. You do not need to subscribe to both. Choose between:
IGC-DISCUSS, discussion is allowed on this list, on topics relevant to gliding and IGC. No attached files! Max. 64 kB per posting.
IGC-NEWS. Only for information, discussion is not allowed. The list is moderated.
