Sporting Code and Annexes
The latest versions of Section 3 of the FAI Sporting Code are:
- Section 3, 2009 Edition, valid from October 1, 2009.
- Annex A to SC3, 2006 Edition, valid from October 1, 2006 (including handicap list 2006)
- Annex B to SC3, including ammendments 1 to 5, valid from
October 1, 2009. - Annex C to SC3, 2000 Edition, 8th Amendment, valid from October 1, 2007.

IMPORTANT: These translations are provided for information only. Only the English versions have the status of official FAI rules, and they are definitive in case of any conflict. The FAI takes no resposibility for the correctness of the translations.

Communication channels
Mailing lists: The IGC has 2 public mailing lists. Both lists are used to disseminate official FAI/IGC information such as notification of world records, information on championships, news/press releases etc., but one may be used in addition for discussion. You do not need to subscribe to both. Choose between:
