On Line Contest (OLC)
The FAI and "Segelflugszene non-profit GmbH" (organizers of the online contest) have signed a memorandum of understanding. Click the logo for further details.
Sporting Code and Annexes
The latest versions of Section 3 of the FAI Sporting Code are:
- Section 3, 1999 Edition, 8th Amendment, valid from October 1, 2007.
- Annex A to SC3, 2006 Edition, valid from October 1, 2006 (including handicap list 2006)
- Annex B to SC3, including ammendments 1 to 3, valid from
October 1, 2005. - Annex C to SC3, 2000 Edition, 8th Amendment, valid from October 1, 2006.
7.8 Landing
7.8.1 The Local Procedures shall define the landing procedures, and give the radio frequency for landing, which preferably should be the same as the finish line frequency.
7.8.2 Hazardous manoeuvres when approaching and after crossing of the finish line shall be penalised. Having crossed the finish line or finish ring the competitors shall land without delay.
7.8.3 Landing later than the end of legal daylight is not permitted. Non-compliance shall be penalised.

Communication channels
Mailing lists: The IGC has 2 public mailing lists. Both lists are used to disseminate official FAI/IGC information such as notification of world records, information on championships, news/press releases etc., but one may be used in addition for discussion. You do not need to subscribe to both. Choose between:
IGC-DISCUSS, discussion is allowed on this list, on topics relevant to gliding and IGC. No attached files! Max. 64 kB per posting.
IGC-NEWS. Only for information, discussion is not allowed. The list is moderated.
