Sporting Code and Annexes
The latest versions of Section 3 of the FAI Sporting Code are:
- Section 3, 2009 Edition, valid from October 1, 2009.
- Annex A to SC3, 2006 Edition, valid from October 1, 2006 (including handicap list 2006)
- Annex B to SC3, including ammendments 1 to 5, valid from
October 1, 2009. - Annex C to SC3, 2000 Edition, 8th Amendment, valid from October 1, 2007.
Annex A to Sporting Code Section 3 and IGC Handicap List
Click on the link below to download the latest version of Annex A to Section 3 of the FAI Sporting Code as a PDF document. Following a decision taken at the March 2010 meeting of the IGC, this version comes into effect on April 1, 2010.
This was an exception; future versions will revert to October 1 as the start date. Note that the previous (2006) version of Annex A (see this link) is no longer valid after 31.01.2010, contrary to what is stated on the front page.
The handicap lists are no longer included in Annex A. The current handicap list for the Club Class can be found here.

Mailing lists: The IGC has 2 public mailing lists. Both lists are used to disseminate official FAI/IGC information such as notification of world records, information on championships, news/press releases etc., but one may be used in addition for discussion. You do not need to subscribe to both. Choose between:
IGC-DISCUSS, discussion is allowed on this list, on topics relevant to gliding and IGC. No attached files! Max. 64 kB per posting.
IGC-NEWS. Only for information, discussion is not allowed. The list is moderated.
