Paula Bowyer (paula@fai.org) is the new CIVL PR co-ordinator and administrator of WPRS CIVL are seeking a new PR co-ordinator and administrator of WPRS as Sarah Fenwick is moving into her new career of performance psychology. Deadline for applications is 15 April 2001. Job Description Requires good written and spoken English, communication skills and some knowledge of hang gliding and/or paragliding and CIVL. CIVL Public Relations Dissemination of CIVL information Writing and distributing CIVL press releases Editing/proof reading and publishing CIVL documents Administering WPRS Category 2 sanctioning Maintaining list of pilots qualified for Category 1 events Updating CIVL website CIVL representative on FAI Media Working Group Communication and liaison with FAI office and staff Communication with delegates, pilots, competition organisers, associations, flying press, pilots, etc IPPI card promotion Attendance at CIVL Plenary and Bureau meetings (reasonable travel expenses are reimbursed) Hours: average 6-8 hours per week, flexible to suit you. Location: can be done at home Requires: telephone, fax, e-mail/internet access (you may receive occasional late night/early morning faxes!) Pay is on two rates: Day to day administration tasks: GBP11.00 per hour (approx Euros 18) PR/tasks requiring more thought/brain power: GBP16.50 per hour (approx 27 Euros)
