The 20th of April the Delegates from Germany, Norway, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Portugal (missing here), Sweden (directly from S&F), France, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Austria (from left to right) did meet in Rom for the annual CIACA conference in the rooms of the Italian Aeroclub. Main item, in the long list of points to discuss, where the WAG (World Air Games) 2009.

The Experimental Aviation of Switzerland did as a member of the CIACA represent the homebuilding aircrafts section at the 100 yrs celebration of the FAI in Lausanne.

Attendance and interest was high inside the hangar homebuilding was presented on a large area with people ready to explain and answer questions.

At the information boot a Kitfox and a Bruegger Colibri was displayed. In a static display outside the hangar some typical homebuilts were on display, a Braendly Cherry, a Slepcev Storch and a popular Van's Aircraft RV-6.

The 2.5 days showed a great interest in aviation and homebuilding, as many people do not know, that it is possible to build your own airplane.

We are looking forward for the next 100 yrs of FAI and what it will bring!
