The following approvals have been issued on behalf of CIMA by the CIMA GNSS Flight Recorder Approvals Committee (FRAC).

CIMA FRAC only approves “Type 1” FR’s which are those suitable for use in microlight championships, but each approval document describes how they must be used in microlight record attempts too. Other flight recorders may be used in record attempts and these are described in FAI Section 10, Annex 6.
