IGC Ranking List Updated

Please visit the IGC Ranking List web site to see the latest results from the Australian and South African Nationals. The winner of the Australian 15m class in 2004 was Micheal Sommer who jumped 61 places as a result of his excellent performance. The biggest place gain was Harry Wondergem who gained 588 places rising to 447 in the Ranking list.

Please look on the news page of the ranking list for other changes and updates. The country league table has been updated and ready for this years World Championships results. See the steadily growing list of competitions to be included in 2004 on the display comps page.

In March Keith Nicholson will add a facility to directly compare pilots performances.

IGC Pilot Ranking List Updated

The results of the very successful World Gliding Championships at Lezno have now been included in the IGC Pilot Ranking system.

There are three new pilots in the top positions. The number one ranked pilot in the World is now John Coutts from New Zealand followed by Andy Davis from Great Britain and in third position Holger Karow from Germany.

The Ranking list also includes the results from the Junior world Championships The World Class and the Women’s World Championships as well as many other International and National competitions.

There are now over 1000 pilots included in the IGC Ranking list.

IGC Ranking List Updated

The IGC Ranking List has been updated with the results of the Pribina Cup. This competition is part of the practice and preparation for the Junior World Championships to be held in May at Nitra in Slovakia.

New Zealand 2003 standard class results added

The Official IGC Ranking List has been updated with the New Zealand 2003 standard class results. Please visit the site at http://rankings.fai.org/gliding/ to see the new pilots rankings. The system is now live and will be updated at the end of each sanctioned competition.

Can pilots included in the list please check their details and if incorrect please log on to change them. If competition organisers wish to apply to have their competitions included in the Ranking list or NAC's wish to have their nationals included they should read the information on the site and apply to the Ranking List Manager.
