Judges Panel

The Chief Judge:  Sara Sachet

I’ve held an FAI Judges rating in  Formation Skydiving  since 1993, having judged a total of eight World Championships and six World Cups in that time.

I’ve been  selected as  FS Chief Judge for the World Cup in Eloy – USA  in 2005 and in GeraGermany in 2006.

I’m  also  member of the IPC Judges Committee and advisor in the Formation Skydiving Committee.

I’m very happy  to join this Web Challenge project. I hope that  beginner and expert teams will have a great interest to show us their skills.

I became an FAI judge in FS 1990 in Gap. I’ve liked judging since the very first time I tried it. I sat up a goal to keep improving and to keep judging until it would take me to South Africa for a competition. I tried to live by the rule pay the price for the privilege you want. It’s been worth all the effort and time I’ve spent on judging to be part of the action of a competition and to have so much fun and meet so many nice friends. To judge is a great choice, not a sacrifice. I’m very happy to be part of the Webb Challenge project.

Good luck to all the teams. Remember you can enter more than once. I wish you all success.  The reward for hard work is good performance - achievement means doing something better today than you have ever done before. Something little or something big, but do Something Better.

I have been involved in skydiving since 1986.  Enjoyed FS but have also tried my hand at ACC, CF and style.   Am always open to try new things.  Involved in judging since 1990; FAI rating 2001.  Since then international judging World Cups, World Championships, Wind Tunnel World Challenge.  I think the Web Challenge innovative and is a super idea.  Hopefully it will encourage a lot of teams to participate and get new young teams involved.  I am very exited to be part of the judging panel for the first FS Web challenge.

I wish all the teams Good Luck and it will be an honour for me to judge the teams.

I started skydiving in 1972 and have watched the development of FS all my skydiving life.  It is very exciting to be involved in this first web based challenge in "my" discipline.   I became an FAI judge for FS in 1985 and have been fortunate enough to be selected consistantly since then to judge at International Championships.

To be part of a discipline that has constantly evolved, improved, giving me challenges each year, has been an honour.

I too wish all the teams Good Luck, I hope we have a great level of entry from many teams to continue the development of this exciting discipline.

I became an FAI judge in FS 1993 in Eloy, Arizona.  Since then I've judged every year at a World Cup or World Meet.  I've been Event Judge, Chief Judge and Chief of Training Judges.  Teaching others the judging skills is one thing I like a lot.

A couple of years ago I also started judging Artistic Events at an International level.  Two very different judging methods.  I'm really happy to be on the panel for this web challenge since I regard it as a great opportunity for both judges and teams to train and get the jumps evaluated.  Especially with Vertical FS as it's not so big yet.  Judging vertical is really fun.  I'm looking forward to see what the teams are doing and hope that there will be many teams entering this challenge.
