59th IPC Annual Meeting 2008

The 59th IPC Annual Meeting will be held in Paris (France)
22 - 27 January 2008.

 Graeme Windsor President IPC
9.0 a.m. starts with the rollcall carried out be Max Bishop, FAI Secretary. Today the votes will be cast for the election of the officers of the IPC, it is therefore essential to ensure that voting members are accounted for.

After the Budget was approved for the forthcoming year the first election took place for the role of President, IPC.

Graeme Windsor was elected as the President IPC. His first action as President was to appoint Patrice Girardin as President of Honour.

Gillian Winter was elected as 1st Vice President IPC

The two Vice-Presidents elected are: Thomas Tuominen and Dr. Rainer "Exi" Hoenle

Liam McNaulty was elected to the post of Technical Secretary

Richard "Buzz" Bennett was re-elected to the position of Treasurer

The Judges committee was the only committee requiring an election to appoint a new committee chair. Doris Metz had announced her intention to resign in her report and Pia Berggren was elected to the position.

The meeting closed at 10.30 after Graeme thanked Sara Sacchet and the Italian Federation for the excellent organisation of the meeting (in Italian!). He looked forward to meeting everyone next year in Paris
