The stated "goal" of the Mission Statement specifically relates to IPC sporting events only. A complete IPC Mission Statement should also be established which encompasses all of the IPC's aims and goals, including safety, licensing, sharing of ideas, fostering international goodwill, etc.

Many sports federations have ventured into the competitive realm of professional sports marketing, and the IPC should learn from the experiences of others. The FAI, as a whole, is already moving strongly in this direction. Hopefully, the IPC can learn from the FAI's efforts, contribute to the FAI's efforts, and eventually collaborate with the FAI's efforts to further the goals of all FAI Air Sports Commissions.

The "IPC Technical System" should be one complete modular system of components which are seamlessly integrated, and fulfill the IPC's required functions, as designated by the IPC. All components should carry the IPC's brand name, regardless if they are based on existing products in the market place.

Participation on the Task Force is totally voluntary. All IPC Officers, Committee Chairs, and Working Group Chairs were invited to participate on the Task Force. Ten of these IPC leaders have volunteered to serve in this capacity.
