Donnersbachwald/Riesneralm, Styria, Austria.  10th March 2009.  The
bad weather that was forecast did not arrive and it was possible for
practice jumps to be made during the afternoon.  Final registration
ended at 1500 hrs and the first team leaders meeting took place at
18.30.

There are 18 National Teams, 3 mixed teams of individuals, 17 Junior
competitors and 8 masters.  In all 14 Nations are represented at this World
Meet.

It is planned to hold the qualifying round for the Skiing tomorrow
morning at 9.30.  There will be a team leaders meeting immediately
after that run and a decision will be taken whether to then move to
hold the two ski runs commencing at 12.00 noon or should the weather be
good enough, commence accuracy at 12.00.  Where again the intention
would be to do a minimum of two rounds of accuracy. 

The start numbers for the qualifying run were drawn, and Marina
KUCHER of the Austria Red team will be the first competitor out of the
gate, and Michal ORAVEC of Slovakia (Junior) will be the last. The
total number of competitors is 17 female and 64 male.
