12th March, Thursday - diary, results and pictures

2.15 and the first lift took off -the accuracy is underway!  Results will be posted as soon as possible.

At 2.30 it was fine and four lifts were made, but the upper winds were
high and after rejumps were awarded it was "standby" until 4.15 when
jumping started in earnest, and by the end of the day one round of
accuracy had been completed.

There were several dead centre scores, and if you think it is hard
to land on a 3 cm disc, try it on a 30 degree slope!  The forcast is
for more snow, but maybe a window in the morning, so a 7.30 start for
Friday is planned.

a.m start for accuracy - but the gaps in the clouds were not large
enough and it was still snowing (a little).  Next call was for 10.00
a.m. and things looked much better, but then closed down again, after
eveyone got excited and rushed around.  Now the landing area and
helecopter await the next break in the weather.
