Wingsuiting Working Group Discussions

Good Day,

This forum is for the discussion of Wingsuiting in terms of our proposed Terms of Reference as submitted to the IPC on 31 January 2010.

The committee members are:

Objectives:
a) To create a clear working definition of a wingsuit

b) To investigate ways to define and judge no-contact wingsuit large formation records

c) To make a recommendation to the IPC for consideration of a new unlinked World Record performance category for Wingsuit, Largest Formation.

Areas of Work:
The Wingsuit Working Group will focus its work on creating a working a definition of a wingsuit and investigating ways to define and judge no-contact wingsuit large formation records, with the goal of making a recommendation to the IPC for consideration of a new unlinked World Record performance category for Wingsuit, Largest Formation.

Further comments may be offered to the IPC Plenary regarding unlinked performance records generally or beyond the wingsuit category, if relevant information arises during the course of the above areas of work.

All formal communication must be submitted and approved by the Chair of the Working Group.

This forum will be used as an open and a closed discussion forum and participants are reminded to specify whether the discussion should be open or closed. All constructive comments are welcomed and I urge the wingsuiting community to use this forum.
