Daily Diary of the CompetitionMonday 6th August 2007. Monday 6th August 2007 - The draws for both Formation Skydiving and Free Fly were done the afternoon of the 5th. Early start from the hotel this morning and mist at the drop zone. By 10.30 the first teams in Formation Skydiving 4-way landed and the competition is under way. Tuesday 7th August 2007. Beautiful clear sunny day. Programme starts on time with 4-way open and female. The artistic competitors will arrive later. Judging of artistic events started late yesterday and finished even later. By mid-day round 3 of 4-way was completed and a very tight competition devleoping at the top of the 4-way open with France, Maubeuge and Russia, Sky Panters tieing on 68 points with France in first place based on their 26 point score in round 2, as the highest any-round score. After round 4 - 3 teams have 87 points - with Belgium (Hayabusa Defence), France and Russia. Round 5 is being judged and round 6 is in the air. After 2 rounds of Skysurf Russia, B03DyX is leading over France, Renaissance. The lead changed in the 4-way between the 3 teams over each round. At the end of round 6 the Belgium Team were in the no 1 position with a total of 132 points, France Maubeuge in 2nd with a total of 131 points, and Russia Sky Panters in 3rd place with 130 points. Wednesday, 8th August, 2007 19.10 hrs Round 10 in the 4-way open has just been judged and we have a jump off for the first place! Thursday 9th August 2007 Slightly later start this morning - and waiting for the jump-off round of 4-way Open between Belgium's Hayabusa Defence and France's Maubeuge. The 8-way continues with an exciting competition developing for 3rd place between Germany, EADS and Italy, Extremo. Round 7 Italy drew 3 points ahead of Germany and in round 8 increased that lead to 7 points. 18.50 and the last team for round 10 has landed. The judges will judge all six teams in reverse order, so that everyone can watch in the hangar.
