Sixth Jeddah International Championship for Skydiving

10 – 17 April 2008

(1) Location of the Championship: Jeddah – K.S.A.

(2) Duration of the Championship: (10 – 17 April 2008). Arrival to Jeddah on 8 April 2008. Departure from Jeddah on 18 April 2008.

(3) The participating teams: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – Oman Sultanate – Morocco – Egypt – Jordan – Syria – United Arab Emirates – Bahrain – Yemen - Malaysia – Indonesia –Japan – Spain - Italy – South Korea – Brunei –Turkey - Qatar.

(4) The Participating Delegation: Each delegation will include Chief of delegation – international judge – coach – 5 jumpers for accuracy team, and 5 jumpers for FS team, total of (13 persons). Any addition in the number of delegation will result addition in the registration fees accordingly).

(5) The Facilities: - Free Entry visas to K.S.A. (The dead time for complete delegations lists of names is 29 February 2008). - Hotel in Jeddah, location of the championship. - Three meals daily, (breakfast dinner and supper) starting 9 April 2008 up to 17 April 2008. - Transportation to all teams within the city of Jeddah. - Enabling all Muslims to perform Omrah and visit Makkah (one time only), plus visits to Jeddah popular Markets for all the teams.

(6) Registration: Every team who has the desire to participate, will pay US$300 (three hundred US dollars) as registration fees for each participant, this means the delegation which is composed of (13) members will pay the sum of (3900 USD) as registration fees in this championship to be directly deposited to (Jeddah International Skydiving Championship) account in The National Commercial Bank Account # 13151305000110, AL-MOUSADIH branch, Jeddah. A copy of the deposit receipt or a draft cheque should be sent through the fax (+966 2 6529431) to the Championship office. in Jeddah.

(7) Welcoming: All the delegations will be welcomed and farewell at King Abdul Aziz International airport.

(8) Type of Championships: Competition on Accuracy Landing and Formation Skydiving FS.

(9) The Judging: (FAI) rules will be applied.

(10) Aircrafts: Super Puma 212.

(11) The expected temperature varies between (23 – 26 degrees Centigrade) and the wind speed is (5 – 10 knots).

(12) Prizes: a. The Accuracy competitions (teams) will be prized as follows: (1) The first winners will get the Cup of HRH Governor of Makkah for accuracy and the golden medals plus monetary prize. (2) The second winners will get the silver medals plus monetary prize. (3) The third winners will get the bronze medals plus monetary prize. The Accuracy individuals' competition will be prized as follows: (1) The first winner will get a shield plus monetary prize. (2) The second winner will get a shield plus monetary prize. (3) The third winner will get a shield plus monetary prize. b. Prizes for the FS competitions will be as follows: (1) The first winners will get the Cup of HRH Governor of Makkah for the FS and the golden medals plus monetary prize. (2) The second winners will get the silver medals plus monetary prize. (3) The third winners will get the bronze medals plus monetary prize.

(13) There will be a closing ceremony. (14) Requirements to be furnished by the teams: (a) Each team has to bring his country flag (2) pieces, one to be raised with the other countries flags and the other to be curried by a jumper during closing ceremony. (b) Each jumper has to bring all his equipment he needs for the competition, one of which is his main parachute and a reserve parachute. (c) Each participant has to bring (4) photos, (3x4) size. (d) Each team has to bring a cassette tape containing his country National Anthem. Important Note for Judges: Judges accompanying the teams have to send copies of a (judge license or certificate) to the Championship General Secretariat not later than February, 29, 2008 to the fax (+966 2 6529431).
