Since 1976 he has packed more than 400 emergency or reserve parachutes to include; 100 parachutes of seat type design, 170 parachutes of back design and 130 parachutes of chest design; in accordance with the manufactures' instructions. He is familiar with construction, packing and maintenance of parachutes in common usage. Within the last seven years he has maintained, altered and made major repairs to all types of parachutes.
Instrumental in designing and test jumping of first Soviet 9-Cell RW canopy.
