It is almost an insult to ask those who are active in IPC for their skydiving history and an impossible task to summarise it here: Thomas Tuominen DOB: 14.5.1971 Years in Skydiving: 7 Number of Jumps: 1400, mostly camera and FS. IPC Delegate for Finland Chair IPC Canopy Piloting Committee since 2004 Member IPC Sporting Code Working Group retired 2008 from the position of IPC Vice Presidnet. Skydiving history: When asked what he felt was his greatest achievement; what had given him the most pleasure – he answered -Must be the fact that we were able to evolve Canopy Piloting into an official IPC discipline. I am honoured to be able to still chair this committee and work with the members, advisors and all the active competitors who are really pushing the limits and making it really happen. The work is done at competitor meetings at competitions and an ongoing process culminating every year at the IPC meeting. Starting in 2003 Canopy Piloting has taken some giant leaps into what it is today, and it still keeps moving on. Many great things are to come. - On a personal level I still enjoy competing as a cameraman (National and occasionally on international levels) and pushing my self to learn the art of aerial photography. Besides that, big ways are what I like the most.
