| Lausanne, 02 July 1999 CIVL World Pilot Ranking Scheme - latest UpdateThe latest rankings have just been published for hang gliding and paragliding (there has been no change to class 2 since the last publication on 9 June). There have been no competitions deleted from the ranking since the last publication. However the next publication of the hang gliding rankings will see the last World Championships dropped and as a result there may be some changes in the top rankings. In the paragliding rankings results from the following competitions have been included since the last publication: Austrian PG National Championships; Slovenian PG National Championships; Veltins Cup, Austria; PWC Slovenia; Nordic Cup, Austria. Kari Eisenhut (CH) is still in 1st place, with Christian Tamegger (A) 2nd and Jimmy Pacher (I) 3rd. Kaspar Henny's (CH) 2nd place at the Slovenian PWC event brings him back into the top 10 at 7th position. Ales Suster (SLO) is new to the top 10 in 9th place. These two pilots come into the top 10 at the expense of Xevi Bonet Dalmau (E) now 11th and David Dagault (F) now 12th. In the female rankings Claire Bernier (F) still leads ahead of Sandie Cochepain (F) and Petra Krausova (CZE) has moved up to 3rd. In the hang gliding rankings there has only been one Category 2 competition since the last publication which is the Spanish Open. Oleg Bondarchuk (UKR) has taken the lead back from Manfred Ruhmer (A) but there are no changes in 3rd - 10th positions. There is no change to the female rankings.
