Will Meet on Thursday 3rd March at 09.30 FAI Headquarters.
Also to attend the Meeting W.D. Tesar, Group Captain Roger Gault, President of Honour A.P. Herbert.

N.B.1. Delegates are requested to have their revised List of International and Assistant Judges for 2004/2005 available and handed to the Chairman of the Rules Committee not later than the start of the Meeting.

N.B.2. The Plenary Dinner with FAI Staff as Guests will take place on Thursday evening. Would you please advise the President and Secretary by mid-February the numbers in your party including any guests. If anybody has a special food requirement i.e. vegetarian would you please let the President know as quickly as possible.

Minutes of the August 2005 Meeting

Minutes of a Meeting held on 16th August 2005 - World Championship Site – Rouen, France.

  3. Minutes of the Last Meeting
    The Minutes of the March 2005 Plenary Meeting will be considered at the Plenary Meeting 2006.
     
  4. Award of FAI Rotorcraft Medal
    A nomination for the award of the Medal to Alfred-Pierre Herbert (Switzerland) had been previously circulated in accordance with FAI By-Laws.

    The President advised that the award of the Rotorcraft Gold Medal was solely at the decision of the Rotorcraft Commission. The President drew attention to the procedure to be adopted. It was noted that proxy votes were not acceptable under By-Law 10.1.4.5.

    The President put the motion that the Commission award a Gold Medal in 2005. By an open vote it was agreed that an award would be made.

    The President proposed that in accordance with the nomination supported by the Aero Club of Switzerland the award of the Commission’s Gold Rotorcraft Medal be made to Alfred-Pierre Herbert. Mr. Konrad Geissler, 1st Vice President, seconded the motion which was carried unanimously.
     

  5. Judges
    The Secretary reported the addition of 3 Assistant Judges from France , 2 Assistant Judges from Germany and 2 Assistant Judges from Switzerland who were present at the Championship.

    There were no objections the Secretary being instructed to add these names to the list.
     

  6. Any Other Business
    (i) Appointment of Judges for the freestyle were left to the discretion of the Chief Judge, Wolfgang Perplies.

    (ii) Copy of the Master Map would be supplied to the Jury on the day of the navigation flight.

    (iii) The President extended to Jacques Escaffre the best wishes of the Commission for the Championship.

    (iv) Date of next meeting March 2006 – Lausanne.
