Explaining the document formats available.

The FAI Ballooning Commission provides t, publications and rules as reference material for use by balloonists around the world. Most were created in Microsoft Word 6.0 and are LARGE files as indicated. Provision have been made to download the documents, with included diagrams, in several formats, for local printing and use.

NOTE:
Documents are formatted for A4 (European) size paper. You can reformat them before printing on American size paper.

1. Self-extracting archive files are:
   • Small to download
   • Include all graphics, tables and forms
   • For PC and not for MacIntosh computers
   • Require that you "run" that file name to extract the final MS Word file
2. Microsoft Word files are larger but can be opened immedately by MS Word
3. MS Publisher files need to be self-extracted first and then you will need MS Publisher to open those files.
