The FAI Aviation & Space Education Commission

The Aviation & Space Education Commission of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale was created to "disseminate aeronautical and astronautical information, especially amoung the young," in the words of the FAI By-laws.

The Delegates to the CIEA are national representatives appointed by their national air sport control organisations (NAC's) and they attend an annual CIEA meeting held in either the FAI Headquarters at Lausanne, Switzerland or in one Delegate's country. Here the final judging of the Young Artist's Contest takes place, and our programmes are scrutinised and improved.

FAI Young Artists Contest

This is an international art contest for youngsters between the ages of 6 and 17. Each NAC sponsors the contest in their country, and the national winners are submitted to the International Jury each year.
