Drone racing is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, so so it's no surprise the FAI Drone Racing World Cup is going from strength to strength.

The 2019 edition of the FAI Drone Racing World Cup was the most exciting one yet with hundreds of pilots participating in more than 23 competitions (Challenger Series) around the world.

This year saw the launch of a new Masters Series of events designed to attract elite drone racers from around the world. The new Masters Series was part of the FAI Drone Racing World Cup and was run in addition to the existing Challenger Series. 

This year's competition culminated in the FAI World Drone Racing Championship Grand Final which took place at in Xiangshan Ningbo, China, from 11 to 14 December - the most exciting drone racing competition of the year!

The FAI has also added the brand new discipline of Drone Soccer to its Sporting Code as a provisional class. The first – demonstration – international tournament took place in Korea, as part of the 2019 FAI Jeonju World Drone Masters.
