3d FAI PG Acro Worlds launched in Friuli, Italy

The 3d FAI Paragliding Aerobatics Championships have launched on July 9, in the town of Trasaghis in Friuli Venezia Giulia in Italy. The event is organized by  Aero Club Lega Piloti,  Aero Club Blue Phoenix  and Volo Libero Friuli ASD. Today was the official training day and July 11 to 16, 2021 will be the contest flying days. The prize-giving ceremony is planned for July 17, 2021. 

29 pilots from 10 nations compete for the title of the World Champion in Solo and Synchro categories. The nations presented at the championships are: Austria (5 pilots), Colombia (2), Czech Republic (2), France (4), Germany (4), Italy (4), Netherlands (1), Spain (4), Switzerland (2), Uruguay (1).

 

 

 

The pilots launch from Monte San Simeone take-off (1180 m ASL) and perform the manoeuvres over the Tre Comuni lake.
