CIVL Plenary 2023 gave the vast majority of votes in favour of Ager's bid to host 24th FAI World Hang Gliding Class 1 Championship, 15th FAI Women's World Hang Gliding Class 1 Championship and 10th FAI World Hang Gliding Class 5 Championship. Ager is located in Catalunya, Spain, and is one the best European Hang gliding flying sites. The local organizer Club Zenith Vol Lliure every year holds numerous HG FAI 2 meets having a long history of success including Worlds of 1995 and Euro in 2010. The proposed dates of the competition are July 13-26, 2025 with a test event on July 21-27, 2024.
