HG Europeans and Worlds 2018: 6 days - 6 tasks!

First 6 days of 20th FAI European Hang Gliding Class 1 Championship and 8th FAI World Hang Gliding Class 5 Championships resulted in 6 valid tasks. The event is held in Krushevo FYR Macedonia and the main take-off used is Mechkin Kamen. It is wide enough to have 3 launch lanes. That allows 125 participants take off in about 1,5 hours.
The seventh day will be a rest day and after the day is supposed to be cancelled due to the unfavourable wind and high rain probability.

After 6 tasks we have the following leaders in Class 1: Italian Alessandro Ploner with Icaro2000 Laminar, British Grant Crossingham with Moyes RX 3.5 Pro and Czech Petr Benes with Aeros combat. In Class 5 the leaders are Austrian Wolfgang Kothgasser, German Tim Grabowski and Italian Luca Comino, all flying with Atos wings.

The leading country in Class 1 is Italy, in Class 5 is Austria.
