NAC Presidents meeting in Rome : An opportunity to share experiences and ideas

19 NAC (National Air Sport Control) Presidents or their representatives attended the 2011 Meeting of FAI Active Members' Presidents that took place in Rome (ITA) on 25 and 26 August.

The aim of the meeting was to share experiences and ideas on topics related to the FAI and air sports. The meeting also offered an excellent opportunity to debate on projects included in the new FAI Strategic Plan such as the future FAI structure, the new consolidated budgeting and accounting processes, the FAI Sports Strategy, the updated Branding of our competitions and the completely new FAI website to be launched in September.

“It is a real satisfaction for all of us to see that a significant number of FAI Members attended this meeting", said FAI Secretary General Stéphane Desprez. "The debates and discussions were productive and I am sure that many will bring back new ideas and helpful information to their respective countries and put them into practice. On behalf of the FAI, I thank the Aero Club d’Italia for hosting the meeting in their headquarters and helping make it a success."
