UK Museum accredited by FAI

The FAI has accredited the Helicopter Museum in Weston-super-Mare, England as an official "FAI recommended venue for education". The museum houses the largest collection of helicopters in the world and is the life work of FAI CIG Vice President, Elfan ap Rees. The museum is home to the Queen's Royal Flight, Bell UH-1H "Huey", The Helicopter World Speed Record Holder, Russian Hind Gunship and Rescue Helicopters. There are also a number of conservation projects under way and the ethos of the museum is to preserve its collections "in perpetuity" - not just for now, but forever.

Elfan ap Rees is being presented with his certificate by FAI CIG UK delegate David Monks in front of G-LYNX, the Helicopter World Speed Record Holder.
