Event Rules are based on Model Event Rules (MERs), developed for any type of event in each FAI Class and Sub-Class, but all are based on the AX MERs as these were the first to be written. Model Event Rules will be published for each Class and for each type of event. Rules common to all Classes will also be printed in the Sporting Code, Section One. Such rules will be called General Rules. These test questions are based on the AX MERs. The latest version is available from the FAI Ballooning Commission Internet Web Site. HYPERLINK http://www.fai.org//ballooning http://www.fai.org//ballooning from your Balloon Federation or from your National Aero Club. If you have a problem obtaining them, ask your CIA Delegate for assistance. When you are selected for Jury duty at a specific event, it is important that you carefully study the actual rules issued for that particular event, as they may include variations to the rules these test questions are based on. Each question has a correct answer of either a, b or c.
