WPRS Update September 05

The World Pilot Ranking has been updated again in Paragliding, Paragliding Accuracy, Hang Gliding and Rigid Wings. Note that the date on the rankings shows September 1st because the ladders are recalculated every 3 months (quarterly) to even out the effects of the Northern and Southern hemisphere competition circuit. Now you can sort by country, separate the Women's PG ranking, see who is scoring for a nations ranking and a "last updated" feature. Hopefully soon there will be a list of competitions that have been added to make life even easier. I am often asked why the arrows seem wrong. These arrows show the rise or fall since the last quarter, not since the last update (which is monthly) For example a pilot may drop 3 places in the first month of the quarter, then rise a place after another competition a month later but in the same quarter, so the arrow will only show a drop of 2 places overall. PARAGLIDING The following competitions have been added: Nordic Open, Romanian Open, practice Europeans, US Nationals, 2nd German Champs, Portuguese (Copa Iberia), Finnish Cup, Belgian Mountain, Russian Open, British Cup Long Mynd, World Cup Portugal, Central Asia Cup.
