Windshape

Guillaume Catry has been active in Mechanical Engineering and Space Technologies at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) since 2015. He is the co-inventor and principal designer of the fan array technology which allows the testing of drones in real-flight conditions including natural real winds, turbulences, gusts of wind, and other adverse weather or climatic effects. His first realisation from October 2017 resides at the Center for Autonomous Systems and Technologies (CAST) at Caltech.

His vision and ambition is to address the major technical and regulatory challenges of the drone industry by providing the best sets of tools and equipment for testing and developing drones.
